MANTA RAYS ARE BACK AT HILTON MALDIVES!
At Hilton Maldives the Manta Rays are back at their South West Monsoon Location! With our new Diving Boat “Oceanic 12” it only takes a comfortable 35 Minute ride to reach the Destination. The Spot is ideal for Divers and Snorkelers alike. Divers have the unique Benefit to stay Eye to Eye with the majestic Manta Rays during their cleaning Process. Snorkelers have the Chance to meet the Giants with a arm length Distance, once the Mantas start their eventful feeding Session…

The Manta Rays are usually around until Mid-November, before they start “flying” to the East Side of the Atoll again.

WORLD SEA TURTLE DAY AT LE MERIDIEN MALDIVES
At Le Meridien, we celebrated the World Sea Turtle day on 16th June with a special Turtle Snorkeling Trip. During that Trip, 11 of our guests were able to spot 2 Hawksbill and 6 Green Turtles. Our guides Cesar & Silvio made this possible .

Luckily Cesar is not only a regular Guide. He is also our Resident Marine Biologist at Le Meridien Maldives. Our Guest could learn on the spot about the Difference between Hawksbill and Green Turtles.
Visit us at Le Meridien and join one of Cesar’s legendary Turtle Sessions. The Ocean is “Cesar’s Palace”!
More from Sub Oceanic Maldives:
Swimming is easy as ABC, however a positive experience during the first moments in the Water matters. Meanwhile, all Sub Oceanic Team Members across all islands are now trained in SSI’s Brand new Survival Swim Course. The SSI Survival Swim Course is designed to make Non-Swimmers comfortable in the Water. Participants will have the ability to Survive in the Water on their own without the help of floating devices. All it takes are a few simple skills. Those can be usually taught within a few session – even during a short Holiday.
The SSI Survival Swim course is now available at all Sub Oceanic Dive & Water Sports Centers!
