Beyond Instagrammable Sustainable Natural Beauty
Our Marine Biologists sunk Bicycles and a specially prepared tiny Truck! Those serve as part of a larger Reef Protection Project. At this time the Truck is already conquered by glassfish and large schools of juvenile fishes. Moreover, a team of Cleaner Shrimps is working in cracks of the Wreck in an Underwater Spa. The cleaner shrimps exfoliate dead skin from passing species.
Six Dive Sites at one Reef
A short swim from the main Reef, Scuba Divers will find a ‘Thila’. Thila is the local word for a Seamount. On the current exposed sides of the Thila, large schools of blue striped snapper and clownfish have their homes.
Apart from this, there is another larger Thila. Right conditions in place, elusive Grey Reef Sharks and Nurse sharks will show up. This part at Le Meridien Maldives’ House Reef is worth a dive for its own.
