TURTLE FESTIVAL FOR LOCAL KIDS AT LE MERIDIEN MALDIVES
At Le Meridien Maldives we were happy to support a local School Class from a neighbouring Islands with a transfer to the annual Lhaviyani Atoll Turtle Festival…

Being the Turtle Capital of Maldives Lhaviyani Atoll is predestined for such an even. However, there are not many boats with the necessary size to accommodate a whole school class. Upon receiving the request from the School’s principal, it was our pleasure to accommodate the Transport on our spacious Diving Boat.
The Feedback from the Kids was instant: a whole boat of lovely smiling faces…
DISCOVER OUR MARINE BIOLOGY PATH AT HILTON MALDIVES
After receiving a lot of positive Feedback about our Marine Biology path at Le Merdien Maldives, we have decided to extend this Concept to our Facilities at Hilton Maldives as well.
The Path is located right behing our Dive Center and next to the Ocean. It might now be the longest Path, but with so much interesting Facts included, it still takes time to absorb it all.

Special thanks for the Installation goes to our Captain Ahmedbe and the one and only Shominator! Visit our Dive Center at Hilton Maldives to experience the “Walk of Marine Life” by yourself…
More from Sub Oceanic Maldives:
Swimming is easy as ABC, however a positive experience during the first moments in the Water matters. Meanwhile, all Sub Oceanic Team Members across all islands are now trained in SSI’s Brand new Survival Swim Course. The SSI Survival Swim Course is designed to make Non-Swimmers comfortable in the Water. Participants will have the ability to Survive in the Water on their own without the help of floating devices. All it takes are a few simple skills. Those can be usually taught within a few session – even during a short Holiday.
The SSI Survival Swim course is now available at all Sub Oceanic Dive & Water Sports Centers!
