A Manta Ray Named “SUB OCEANIC” at Sirru Fen Fushi
The Fact that Manta Rays are very common around Sirru Fen Fushi is not a big secret anymore.
Currently our Team had a bit of an unusual challenge, as there was trouble finding a still available Name for a newly identified Manta Ray.
Oscar finally came up with a great idea and suggested to name the Manta “Sub Oceanic”. As Sub Oceanic is quite unique, this name was still available.
Divers at Sirru Fen Fushi are now exposed to a high probability of encountering “Sub Oceanic” below the surface as well – Thank you Oscar!

Facelifts at Le Meridien Maldives
In preparation for the BIG SSI Videoshoot in August, our Dive Center, Marine Center and Water Sports Center at Le Meridien Maldives saw some major Facelifts. Starting with new illuminated Signage at the Dive Center is now shining in a bright blue.
At the Water Sports Center an inflatable Lounge, and at the Marine Center a whole new “walk & discover Path” is awaiting our guests. The real Highlight however is underwater at our House Reef: “A Sub Oceanic Swing” for our Divers…
