Who we are?
Founded in 2014, Sub Oceanic is a locally owned, highly specialized full-service provider for resort-based Scuba Diving, Watersports, Excursions and Fishing activities in the Maldives. In 2019, we have also added our own Design and Production of Water wear and Accessories to our Portfolio.
Like any other young company, we had to find our place in the market, and we gained experience by operating our services in resorts ranging in size from 50 to 271 villa room inventories, until we found out what we can do best: Being a full-service provider for well-established Hotel Brands with a room inventory from 100 to 150 on Maldivian Resort Islands. As of today, our operations are based at Hilton Maldives Amingiri (109 Villas) in North Male Atoll, Le Meridien Maldives (141 Villas) in Lhaviyani Atoll and Sirru Fen Fushi Private Lagoon Resort (120 Villas) in Shaviyani Atoll, where we have found the right and valued resort partners and owners to cooperate with.

Our Head of Operations, Florian Gansl, joined the company in 2016 as Dive Center Manager and stepped into his current role in 2018. He is a 110% hands-on person who has opened and established all our operations. He knows each of our dive sites by heart, understands the opportunities and challenges of each of the Atolls we are operating in and most importantly he is very much connected to people on all ends to ensure we have the right balance for our guest, staff and resort partner’s needs.
