SPECIALS IN DIVING

Specialties teach you new techniques and give you the tools to enhance your exploration. You don’t have to have the Advanced rating to enroll in a Specialty Course. They are separate courses concentrating on specific aspects of diving. The courses usually take 1-2 days. If you are really only interested in Deep or Wreck Diving then the Specialty is for you. Here is a quick overview of the most common specialties:

Nitrox Specialty

Extend your dive time at intermediate depth by breathing enriched air nitrox. One of the most popular specialty courses.

Deep Specialty

Become certified to dive to the recreational limit of 40 meters and learn about decompression theory and diving planning.

Night Specialty

Learn techniques for diving at night and discover the unique creatures that come out after sunset.  It’s a whole different world after dark.

Drift Diving & Waves, Tides and Currenty

Water motion can have a tremendous effect on your diving experience. This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to conduct dives from shore, in currents, and in different types of waves.

Photography

Learn to take awesome photos to show off on instagram.

Underwater Naturalist
