Our Dive, Watersport and Marine Center at Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa

opened their doors in 2021

To be more precise - our operation at Le Meridien Resort & Spa started to become alive in September of that magical year. Together with the island developer we were able to contribute our practical knowledge for Scuba Diving and Watersports to the construction of the island. This means both our outlets on the island are extremely functional and provide our guest with the best possible comfort. Our beautiful Dive Center is located directly on the arrival jetty and the boats literally start from its doorsteps. Located at the southern edge of Lhaviyani Atoll, it is the ideal base for unforgettable marine encounters!

The amazingly handcrafted

Watersports Center was set up by our highly talented watersports team leader Nuttey and is located next to the Velaa Restaurant and Bar – just one step away from the lagoon and the resorts main pool. Another masterpiece of Maldivian handcraft works can be found at our beautiful Marine Center which is nicely situated between the Kids Club and the Riviera Bar. From the Marine Center beach our guests have direct access to the biologically highly valueable Mangroves of Lhaviyani Atoll.
